Hello everyone...
I hope everyone is having a great beginning of Spring. I've gotten in a few msgs on how Shamrock events have gone - let's hear about yours! :)
On a recent visit to HQ's website, I noticed that March 12 was the 92nd Anniversary of the Girl Scouts. Remember, Kappa Delta has an exclusive badge that Girl Scouts of all ages can learn. For more information, please visit http://www.kappadelta.org

My name is Natalie Citarella and I am a senior at Beta Pi-Florida. I am a public relations major and I did an outside concentration in business administration (its like a minor). I have been involved with leadership positions within Kappa Delta (Panhellenic Delegate), the Panhellenic Community (director of publications for recruitment) and on campus with Florida Blue Key as secretary and a director for Gator Growl
I am on the brink of facing reality and trying to figure out what I am doing with my life. I am currently taking the GRE on March 26 and have decided to apply for jobs in case I do not get in. I was wondering there were any alumnae who might have some connections...anywhere. I am thinking about sales or corporate p.r., but I am not picky.
I would appreciate any help. Thanks again.

Jewelry-Loving Kappa Delta's --
I am an Independent Sales Representative for Silpada Designs. Silpada is not fashion jewelry - it is the highest grade of sterling silver jewelry (.925) decorated with authentic stones such as amber, turquoise, quartz and garnet. The jewelry is handcrafted and unique - not something you see coming and going! It is very cool and I hope you will take a look at it: www.silpada.com. So......
If you would like to earn free jewelry by having a Silpada home or catalog party,
Or if your chapter, AA, PTO, or any other group needs a fund raiser,
Or if you would like to earn an extra $1,000 a month working part-time for a great company in a fun atmosphere ....
Then let me know! Email me and we can talk about the possibilities!

I would like to congratulate my pledge sister, KIM BUETTNER POOL (ZE - University of Kansas), and her husband, Jereme, on the birth of their first child, Evan Richards Pool. Evan was born on March 19, 2004 weighing 8 lbs., 2 oz. and measuring 21 inches long. He is just as adorable as we knew he would be! Congratulations, Kim and Jereme!

I am writing to ask for prayers.
I have a very unique and incurable disease which makes my veins attack me...
I don't know how I got it, or why. No one has been able to slow the progression of the disease down. I am now to the point where I have to have this operation or game over..
It is kind of strange, but..
Until this month I have had no hope of making it to next year.
Amazingly, my father (John) found a Dr. in Salt Lake City who can do the type (saphenous vein re-grafting) surgery I need..
I live in Columbus, Oh and the surgery would be in Utah.
I am sure I will live through the surgery.
I want to be alive.. I have a very strong will...I am a KD!!!
I appreciate all of your thoughts..
****For those of you visiting Cincy, OH, stop by Omega Xi ***
I am doing a mural for the new Omega Xi house..I have to live to finish it-we will unveil it around Founder's Day!
Leave a little legacy of my own..
I bet Georgia O'Keeffe would be proud of me. (she is totally my inspiration)..
Thanks again!

Around the corner I have a friend,
In this great city that has no end,
Yet the days go by and weeks rush on,
And before I know it, a year is gone.
And I never see my old friends face,
For life is a swift and terrible race,
He knows I like him just as well,
As in the days when I rang his bell.
And he rang mine but we were younger then,
And now we are busy, tired men.
Tired of playing a foolish game,
Tired of trying to make a name.
"Tomorrow" I say! "I will call on Jim
Just to show that I'm thinking of him."
But tomorrow comes and tomorrow goes,
And distance between us grows and grows.
Around the corner, yet miles away,
"Here's a telegram sir," "Jim died today."
And that's what we get and deserve in the end.
Around the corner, a vanished friend.
Remember to always say what you mean.
If you love someone, tell them.
- author unknown
Don't be afraid to express yourself. Reach out and tell someone what they mean to you. Because when you decide that it is the right time it might be too late.
Seize the day. Never have regrets. And most importantly, stay close to your friends and family, for they have helped make you the person that you are today.
