Hey KD Ladies! Just wanted to send out a note to say Happy New Year to the Epsilon Upsilon Chapter Advisory Board members for 2004! I am a new CAB member myself (Panhellenic Advisor) and an alumna from Epsilon Upsilon (Cal Poly, Pomona, CA, 1992). I am very excited to be working with our group, some of whom have had to wear multiple hats on CAB to support EU over the last few years, and we even have a founding member (Hey Cindy Jones!!). I know that with past experience and new energy, we can support EU so they can really shine in 2004 and beyond!!
Also, a big KD hug goes out to Neetu Deol, EU Panhellenic Rep, and all the fabulous KD's under her branch in Chapter: Sara Bonczewki, Greek Week Chair; Shelly Cliff, Panhellenic Alternate; Michelle Ferolino, Intramurals Chair; and Jessica St. Jules, Greek Council Rep. I'm especially proud that Sarah Terrazas is the Panhellenic President for 2004, and Katy McKnight is the Panhellenic PR Chair for 2004. KD is gonna take Cal Poly Panhellenic by storm!!!
If anyone has any great ideas to share, we are looking for possible substitutions for certain Greek Week contests (especially the tug-of-war) to suggest at Greek Council. Also, just any good advice on activities or success stories for Panhellenic/intramurals/Greek Week. Thanks!
In KD~

The Nashville Alumnae Panhellenic has come up with a fun opportunity for KD vendors or business friends! This year at the Scholarship Luncheon, there will be vendor tables in additional to the traditional silent auction.
The Alumnae Panhellenic Scholarship Luncheon is Saturday, March 20, 2004, Stadium Club at Vanderbilt. Vendors will display their wares from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This adds additional shopping opportunities (nice big room) and it's great exposure for home-based or local businesses! The price for a table is $25 (includes 1 lunch), plus 10% of any profits during event and a $20 minimum silent auction donation item.
The deadline to apply for a vendor table is March 1. Applications will be approved on a first come basis to avoid tables with duplicate products. To obtain a vendor application, donate a silent auction item, or reserve luncheon tickets contact KD PH delegates: Jennifer Hutcheson (hutcheson_jenn@yahoo.com) or Gloria Humphrey (dgchamp@earthlink.net).
The Nashville AA’s primary philanthropy is the Nashville Exchange Club. For more information on the Exchange Club, visit:
http://www.exchangeclubfamilyctr.org/
On Saturday, March 13, the Exchange Club will be participating in the Tom King 1/2 Marathon and 5K Run/Walk at Titans Stadium. Anyone interested in walking/running in the event is asked to raise $500, but it is NOT required. If you would like to participant in the event, contact Sherry Luttrell at smluttrell@comcast.net for more information. Kappa Delta Alumnae Association will be named as a corporate sponsor at this event, so it would be nice to have several participants.

This is always one of our favorite meetings – no skill necessary! Historically, “rookies” do better than the “experienced” players when it comes to KD bunco night.

Hi,
I've held off as long as I can, but the time has come for me to ask for help. I am a May 2003 Art Marketing graduate from North Georgia College & State University (Epsilon Gamma). I have exhausted every agency, department, and classified section I can possible use. I desparetly need a job in the Atlanta area, I really want to stay involved with the arts and have interviewed with several potential companies, all for the results to be the dreaded "we love you, but you don't have any experience" response. Please, any Atlanta area KD's, if you have any information or leads that I could follow I would truly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance,
love and AOT,

I am so happy to report that my daughter and KD sister, Wendy (Braatz) Herkey, has given birth to a baby boy, Tyler Jason Herkey, on December 26. He IS a cutie. Her good friend and KD sister Marianna (Sharp) Korn also had a baby boy on December 24. Those two have been doing things together since 8th grade - including joining Beta Mu Chapter of Kappa Delta together several years ago. We are all very happy, even though neither baby qualifies as a KD legacy. (There is still time!)

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
1. Free your heart from hatred.
2. Free your mind from worries.
3. Live simply.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less.
FAMILY
Are you aware that if we died tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days? But the family we left behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.
And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than into our own family, an unwise investment indeed, don't you think?
