Hello!
It's been 3 weeks since I sent out an issue - I had only receive a few notes, so I've been waiting for more news! I realized that I should probably send out an issue before the end of the year...so here it is.
I wanted to mention about meeting another KD Onliner. A couple of months ago, Emily Abernethy (Epsilon Epsilon-Appalachian State) posted a note in the newsletter that she's moved to Port St. Lucie, FL. Since I'm in that area at least once a month, I arranged to meet her and Debra Bogstie (Pi-Nebraska), who is another Onliner I met a few months ago, for dinner. We really had a wonderful time at dinner that night! :)
Anyway, I hope you all are enjoying the holidays and I wish you all a fantastic new year!
AOT,
Annie
P.S. dont' forget to send in some news!!! ;)

Hello ladies! This is the first time for me to post anything, but
first I wanted to say hello and let you know how much I love being a
KD! Second, I was interested in getting some advice, I am the
Shamrock chair this year and was needing some ideas. So if you have
any ideas, let me know! Thanks!
Love in AOT,

Hello! I graduated from University of Central Florida in 2002 and have been living and working in Jacksonville since then. I recently accepted a job in the Tampa Bay area and am looking for fellow KD's in the area. I will be moving down January 9th or 10th. I will be working for the City of Tampa. Does anyone have suggestions for apartments in the area ( I would like to be close to City Hall where I will be working)?? I would also like to get involved with the Alumnae Association there since I don't know many people in Tampa. I would love to hear from any sisters in the area.
Love in AOT,

I wanted to announce my engagement to Benjamin Peck, of Palm Coast, FL. After dating almost two years, Ben asked me to marry him on Thanksgiving Day. It was a wonderful weekend and I can not be any happier! (for now) A August/September 2004 wedding is what we are looking at in South Carolina then I will be moving down to Palm Coast.

Google has implemented a new feature wherein you can type someone's
telephone number into the search bar, hit enter and you will be given a
map to their house. I tried it and it works. Quite scary. Please look up
your own number. Read below for details. Think about it--if a child,
single person, ANYONE gives out his/her phone number, someone can actually now
look it up to find out where he/she lives. The safety issues are obvious,
and alarming. This is not a hoax; Mapquest will put a star on your house on your street.
In order to test whether your phone number is mapped, go to:
www.google.com <http://www.google.com>. Type your phone number in the search bar
with dashes (i.e. 555-555-1212) (dashes & spaces are very important) and
hit enter. This will divulge your name and address. You will see a link
option to the right for Mapquest (click on it), which will use the address to
provide a map to your home or place of business.
If you want to BLOCK Google from divulging your private information,
simply click on the telephone icon next to your phone number, and it will let
you go to a page to request deletion. If you want to remove your telephone
number, it takes 48-hours. If you are unlisted in the phone book, you might
not be in there, but it is a good idea just to check. You might want to
forward this on to friends and family.
