-- An informal unofficial newsletter for members of Kappa Delta Sorority and a few friends! --
Volume 9, Issue 15

October 15, 2003
Sisters,
It has come to my attention that a man by the name of Eric Koester has gathered email address from my KD Online website and sent requests to hundreds of Kappa Deltas for sorority-related stories. Now, whether you want to submit a story for someone to publish in his own book is your choice (freedom of speech), but I will tell you that Kappa Delta Headquarters has asked that you refrain from sending in your stories, because no one knows exactly how these will be presented.
When I found out that Mr. Koester collected addresses from my site, I asked him to refrain from spamming any of those addresses, and he said he would...but who knows if he adheres to my request. I apologize to any of you who received his unsolicited email. If you would like your email address removed from http://kdonliner.tripod.com, please tell me which issue it appears in, and I will delete your address ASAP.
Please remember that each of my newsletters contains a disclaimer stating that something like this could happen. Also, whenever you sign a guestbook or forward a joke that is not "bcc'ed" - you are putting your email address out there for any spammer to collect.
If you have any questions, please email me. For further information regarding KD HQ's stance, please email kappadelta@kappadelta.org.
Anyway, I got a TON of messages this week...lots of Founders Day events!
AOT,
Annie
