The Cincinnati and Dayton AA's are pleased to announce that we will celebrate a very special Founders' Day on November 1st at 11:00. Our guest speaker will be Julie Johnson. Julie is attending to celebrate not only Founders' Day but the 90th anniversary of Omega Xi (the University of Cincinnati) and the 75th anniversary of the Dayton AA. We are meeting at the Wingate Inn on I-75 and the luncheon for alums is $25.

Congratulations go out to my sister and friend, Amanda Blount, who has recently been engaged to marry Blair Dunivan! She and Blair met in Nashville, TN. Their wedding date is scheduled for June 12, 2004. Amanda is an initiate of Gamma Epsilon, Florida Southern, Spring '97. We are so excited for her and wish her nothing but the best!!

I wanted to congratulate my Gamma Iota Sister Nicole Buchner! On August 9th she became Nicole Scott when she married Michael Scott on the beach in Monterey, CA. We are hoping for either a KD or SAE legacy in their future!!

While in school my sophomore year at High Point University in 1992, one of my pledge sisters, Laury Lynch died from an acute asthma attack during the fall semester.
Even though it's been over 10 years many of the Gamma Gamma sisters are still working to help find a cure for asthma.
One of my closest Kappa Delta sisters now serves on the Board of Directors for the American Lung Association and is in need of donations to help fight for the cure.
Her fundraising goal is $2000.00 but I think if we can reach out to our Kappa Delta sisters nation wide we can do a lot better.
