Dear Delta Etas and Friends,
Have you heard that Kappa Delta will open a house on the campus of University of South Florida THIS August? Our dreams have finally become a reality and WE NEED YOUR HELP! Due to the wonderful guidance of Becky Conkling, we are going to have a beautifully decorated house however the funds have run dry. We are having a kitchen/bath shower on July 12th to furnish the kitchen. We are creating a plaque of all those that help furnish the house and WE WANT YOUR NAME INCLUDED! Please don't think that any donation is too small or that you have to be a Delta Eta. We want to show the girls in the chapter just how much Kappa Delta has meant to all of us and that it DOES NOT stop when you leave college. If you'd like to talk to me direct, I'm always on email. (JBKELLY5@aol.com)

Hello sisters!! I'm Megan Swatek, University of Missouri-Columbia, Epsilon
Iota: 1998-2002. (That sounded like a Miss America intro) We have a sister
getting married on the 12th of July and we are wondering what the official
KD ceremony traditions at weddings are? (if there is one?) If you could
guide me on where to find this information I would appreciate it!
One more question--I'm moving to Dallas in August and wonder how to get in
contact with KD alumnae groups in different areas?
Have a great summer!
Thanks for your help-
AOT

Hey all. I know a couple of you are on Live Journal, but for those that aren't (and don't see the KD journal on there), I thought I'd pass this entry along:
Hey girls! For those of you that are new here, I'm Tracy and I'm a Fall 2000 initiate of the Sigma Epsilon chapter at the University of Texas at Austin.
Anyway, I got some really exciting and awesome news today...one of the sisters in my chapter is currently starring in a Top 20 country music video!! I don't know if any of you are country music fans, but the song is "What Was I Thinking?" by Dierks Bentley...she
is the gorgeous girl with long brown hair that is in practically every scene. The girls in our chapter would really like to see more of her, so if you get a chance, click here and vote for "What Was I Thinking?" by Dierks Bentley...tell your chapter and all your friends!!
I have a friend here (in Cincinnati) who's a DJ for one of the country stations, and of course I passed this along to him :) From what he tells me, the requests for this song have been increasing! Could it be because of the KD? ;)
