Hiya..

March is around the corner...and that means Shamrock time!  I've gotten several notices of Alumnae events going on.  But we'd love to hear about collegiate events too!  So please, send in a note & let us know about your chapter's Shamrock Event.

More KD in the news...  Allie Jablon, a candidate on Apprentice 5 and the winning project manager from Episode One, is a Kappa Delta from the University of Florida (Beta Pi).  If you didn't catch the show last night, check your local listings, as its rerun on CNBC throughout the week.  Thanks to Nikki Spilios Netzley (a fellow Beta Pi) for sending me an email this morning (right after I sent out the Beta Pi newsletter!).

AOT,

Annie

Eight Delta Tau (Morehead State) alumni from the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati area had a blast in January at Buckhead Grill in Bellevue, KY. The eight shared sorority memories, pictures of families and even pictures from their college days in the early '80's!  In attendance were Krista Owens Rogers, Vicki Mueller Mazza, Jenny Redmer, Laura Lindeman-Lorenz, Mary Watts Jones, Shari Hughes Iden, Christy Calvert Ledford and Cindy Beasley Fessler.  It was great to catch up with college friends!  If there are any Delta Tau alumni from the early 80's reading this, we'd love to hear from you!  I have contact information for all of us!

I was wondering if anyone knows of an opportunity for my daughter (age 13) and myself to help out with the hurricane relief effort in Mississippi?  I do know that some churches/dioceses in Mississippi have  volunteer "youth tents" set up for those wishing to help out this summer; however, my daughter's age (rising 8th grader) has met w/some resistance even though I'll be volunteering beside her.  Does anyone have any suggestions/contacts that they can provide?  We'd like to firm up arrangements to come down in early June.

Thanks so much - AOT - Leigh Rizer
