Homecoming is just a few days away! The KD house will be open, as usual, for visits. Please read the first message in this newsletter for more info.
I appreciate those of you who have been sending in your personal updates... don't forget, if you want to publicize Alumnae Association meetings, send those in too. And if you've never gone to your local AA meeting, you should - no doubt you'll meet another Gator KD.
AOT,
Annie

Hey Annie! If you could tell everyone that the house will be open the day of homecoming starting at 9 am untill 11 am. Alumni are more than welcome to stop by and see us. We will be having snack foods and a few goodies set out to nibble on. We would love to see some of our sisters stop by! Please email me at Dayz303@aol.com so I know how many people to expect. Thanks! Go Gators!

Annie,
Here's another 80's PC reply:-)
Life has really settled down for us after moving 4 times (all here in Ft. Myers) in 15 months (and having a second child in the interim). Mike, Gareth, Dylan, and I live in our beautiful new house just about 5 minutes from the houses Mike and I grew up in. Gareth is four now, and Dylan will be two on Valentine's Day. I'm currently teaching English IV on-line with Florida Virtual School (with some other fine KD ladies like Kim Stracke Rugh and Jodi Crum Marshall -both PC 88), so I get to be a work at home Mom (as if being a Mom isn't "work", right?). Much of my "free-time" is spent with my most wonderful friend, Alice Allen Pamplin (PC 88 too), and our boys enjoy time to play together often. I'm certainly counting myself as fortunate these days, as life is good (though sometimes a little messy).
As always, Annie, thank you for keeping these newsletters going. I especially enjoyed your last Beta Pi newsletter with the "You Might Be a Gator If . . ." message. Reality came crashing down when I read the one about "Gators yell louder when their team is behind in the 4th quarter; they don't leave". Now that I've been reminded, I will certainly do just that. I'm ashamed to admit that I left during the 4th quarter of our loss to LSU. Well, Go Gators!

Hey, ya'll!! Glad I was able to reconnect after moving and changing email addresses a few times!! I've got two great announcements: I will be marrying a wonderful man named Bruce Schuman on Nov. 9th of this year here in Satellite Beach and I finally heard from my old roommate, Paddie Garland!! She's married, living in Ireland, and will be having her first baby next year!!! Hope everyone is doing well - Go Gators! and God Bless!
