I have just recently heard that Bette Riker's husband Dr. Harold Riker recently passed away.  I am sure she, Anne and Elizabeth would appreciate hearing from some Beta Pi alumnae.

I'll jump on the band wagon - Brian and I are expecting our first child
late October.   

Also, not sure if this has already gone out, but Gail Howard Eischeid
and her husband Brian are expecting their first on June 9th (she looks
great!).

I just wanted to announce the birth of our second daughter, Shelby Lynn Jackson 
on March 5, 1998.  She was 7 pounds, 1 1/2 ounces and was 19 inches long.  
Her big sister Abby, age 4, adores her.  Darrell and I are very happy with our growing family.

Tracy Tyree, PC 86 graduated from the University of Maryland with her Ph.D.
last week. She is now a Doctor in the field of College Student Personnel.
She not only graduated on time but with honor marks on her comps. Congrats
Big Sis... I mean Dr. Tyree!

Lisa Bauer Wackler lives in Washington, D.C. and is expecting her second
child in July. Her first son Leo, is excited about being a big brother and
has his own ideas on what the baby's name should be. Ask Lisa for details!
