Hi Gator KayDees..
I have to apologize, but I received the following email from Austin, about 2 weeks ago. She invited all Beta Pi alumnae to their Shamrock projects. Unfortunately, my fault - I did not send out the newsletter in time. I am very sorry. However, perhaps there are some of you who would like to contribute to their Shamrock project?! The info is below.
AOT,
Annie

Kappa Delta Sorority has traditionally dedicated it philanthropic endeavors to the benefit of disadvantaged children. The Shamrock Project is a fundraiser that Kappa Delta collegians and alumnae throughout the country hold annually to benefit the National Committee for Prevention of Child Abuse and its affiliate chapters.
For the 17th year, Beta Pi chapter has chosen the Lake Forest Elementary Deaf Wing as its local beneficiary for its 19th annual Shamrock event. this years events was held Monday, March 18 and Tuesday, March 19. Monday, we held the Kappa Delta Dollar Dance at 9pm at Sky nightclub. Tuesday was the linedance competition at 9pm at Brick City Music Hall.
If you would like to donate monetarily to the Shamrock project, please send a check by March 30, 2002, (made payable to Kappa Delta) to: Kappa Delta Sorority, Shamrock, 1122 E. Panhellenic Dr., Gainesville, FL 32601.
Thank you for your support. We raised over $ 9,900 last year and hope to top that amount this year. By contributing, you will become an integral part of Kappa Delta's fight for the prevention of child abuse.
