So, how was the Homecoming Brunch?  Maybe someone will email me to let us all know how it went?  ;)

Anyway, a few weeks ago, I was IMing w/ collegian Annie Morton (Annie3712@aol.com), who filled me in on some Beta Pi news:

* PC 2001 had a 2-night pledge retreat in High Springs at Camp Kulaqua...and they were initiated on Oct. 21, 2001 - 58 new members!  (remember, KD has a 6 week pledge period these days!  Those lucky younguns!) 
<br>* Beta Pi did homecoming with Phi Delta Theta 
<br>* and finally, Annie is "Miss Florida Gator" and rode in the Homecoming parade!
<br>

I hate to say it, but I am still in good old Gainesville, FL pursuing my Masters' Degree in Decision and Information Sciences.  I am graduating in December when I hope to find a job and move to either Tampa or Atlanta, GA!  I am still active in Panhellenic, I am the AVP on the Executive Board, but I am no longer active in KD.

Hope that's enough about me!!!  I will definitely have a more exciting life once I get a job and move out of G-ville!!!  I will keep you posted :)

To all KayDees who live in South Florida (Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Palm Beach):

The Ft. Lauderdale AA will be meeting in Boca Raton on Tuesday, Nov. 13.  Our successful Make, Bake and Grow will be at the home of Helen Brown. Helen will be making a delicious Shrimp Fettucine meal for us! 
<br><br>
Please bring an item that can be auctioned off. This item may be either, made (crafty type item), baked (any yummy treat will do), or grown (plants, herbs, flowers, etc.) If you are not crafty, please feel free to bring a store bought item instead. These items make great Holiday gifts and have always been lovely. 
<br><br>
Get ready for a fun night of food, friends and shopping! All funds raised will be donated to children in need. This is a very fun KD event that you don't want to miss!
