So, have you made up your mind about going to Convention?  Several Beta Pi Alumnae have said they'd like to meet up & the best time is during the weekend, so others can just drive over.  I don't think we'll be able to get a conference room, even if our numbers increase.  Apparently, KD HQ doesn't really provide for such accomodations. 

I got word from HQ that they WILL provide a room for the KD Online reception on Sunday night (though I'm not supposed to announce this yet), from 9:30 to 11pm.  This will be at the same time as the Alumnae Reception, which will be another room.  I'm not sure what the Alumnae Reception (or the KD Online reception, for that matter) will entail...but if Beta Pi's want to meet at the KD Online reception, I don't see any problem with that (except that it's late on Sunday night).  Anyone have any other ideas?

Anyway, on Tues., June 26, @ 9am, there will be the Alumnae/Collegiate Awards Ceremony, and I believe that Beta Pi is up for a Merit Award (someone correct me if I'm wrong?).  Marci Hall (current BPi Pres :) said that about 30 girls will come down for this, plus there will be the 4 fulltime members.  So, if you want to share in the joy, please register for this event! (email me if you want to know more about Convention registration - early reg. deadline is this week!)
