I just wanted to let my sisters know of my accomplishment. I just completed the
Marine Corps Marathon (26.2 miles) in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, October 25,
1998. It was my first marathon and definitely NOT my last. My next marathon
goal is the New York City Marathon in November of 1999.

It was a great experience. I also want to thank April Anderson for her fan and
water support. She cheered me on at mile 4, 16, 20, 22 and 26.2!!! What a
friend and sister.
